Lillian Irene Thompson

- Died: January 18, 2002, in Tucson, Arizona
- Irene Lillian Thompson was was the youngest of six children of Pirrie Thompson (British) and Janet Crooks Thompson (Canadian). Irene graduated from Everett High School (State of Washington) and the University of Washington in 1924. She taught school for several years.
Later, she and her mother worked in the office of Irene's brother, Leonard R. Thompson, M.D., in San Pedro, California.
- Irene studied history, foreign languages and literature. She was a pianist, and
an accomplished needleworker. Much of her life she was the homemaker for her parents and sisters while they were working, teaching and retired. AAUW and PEO were her favorite organizations.
